Optus has been a long-standing client of Hirotec for several years undertaking MEF services across Australia.
When Optus mandated their Exchanges upgrade the existing Fire Suppression systems, they turned to Hirotec to assist in delivering this project. This encompassed the design and installation of gaseous suppression, pre-action, sprinkler, fire services tanks, hydrants, pumps, and FIP’s.
A major undertaking across multiple sites, Hirotec provided a complete ‘turn-key’ service to Optus, including design, construct, commissioning, and inspection & testing.
Working in LIVE exchanges required a strict project management methodology with experienced Hirotec personnel. Our understanding of Optus’ operating processes and site criticality enabled Hirotec to deliver an excellent result without compromising exchange operation.
